Arlingham Parish Council is a third tier authority within the area of Stroud District Council and Gloucestershire County Council.
The Parish Council currently consists of a clerk and 7 members, elected in May 2021 for a 4-year term of office, finishing in 2025.
Parish Councillors strive to look after the best interests of the parish, with their wide range of interests involving:
Churchyards, crime prevention, entertainment, halls, lighting, litter, open spaces, parking places, parks, planning, playing fields, rights of way, roadside verges, seats, shelters, signs, traffic calming, transport, greens, etc.
Meetings are held monthly in The Village Hall at 7.30pm on the first Monday of February, March, April, May, July, September, November and December. Meetings in the other months of the year will only happen if planning applications arise. There is a 15 minute period set aside at the start of each meeting for parishioners forum.
