Please be advised of the following closure:
- The Reddings Lodge to St Marys Church
This road will be closed (as per this plan) from 01/04/2024 to 05/04/2024 to allow for blockage clearance works by Gigaclear.
Emergency and pedestrian access will be maintained. County Highways have stated to the contractors that Overton Lane is not suitable as a diversion route and have requested that full access is maintained into and out of Arlingham while the closure is in place. There will be delays whilst the workforce make way for traffic to pass through. A road closure is necessary to maintain a safe working zone for the operatives undertaking the works.
Highways have asked the contractor to place 'Businesses open as usual' signs by the road closure ones and that any road closure will now take effect from after 10am and should be temporary in nature (updated 25th March).
