Update - Friday 5th April - The Parish Council have confirmed with the contractor that the work is scheduled to be completed on Tuesday 9th April (during week commencing 8th April - day subject to change). The rolling road block will be in place using restricted hours from 9:30am - 3:30pm with pauses to release the traffic and delays of up to 20 minutes.

For one day - w/c 8th April - between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm Passage Road will be closed from the junction of Milton End to The Old Passage Inn for carriageway patching.

Having spoken with the contractor today and expressing concerns to them, they have confirmed that they will be working within restricted hours (as mentioned above). There will be no road closure, but instead they will operate a rolling road block (signs will show 'long delays' and hopefully one for 'businesses open as usual'). There may be delays of up to 20 minutes whilst they plane the road, but typically 10 minutes during the rest of the works.
